Job Description

SDG Chartered Professional Accountants is a boutique CPA firm specializing in small business, high-net-worth, cross-border taxation, and tax planning. We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Co-op Student to support and grow the firm's digital marketing presence.

This is a hands-on, full-time marketing role for a student who wants practical experience managing digital campaigns, social media, website content, search visibility, and other marketing initiatives for a skilled services firm.

The successful candidate will work closely with the SDG team to help strengthen our online presence, generate awareness of our services, and support the firm's overall marketing and business development efforts.

Important: This position is intended for students enrolled in a recognized Canadian university or college co-op program and completing an approved full-time co-op work term. Applicants must also meet the applicable eligibility requirements outlined in the application questions below.

Responsibilities

- Manage and create content for the firm's social media channels
- Support digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, SEO, SEM, and other online advertising initiatives
- Draft, edit, and publish blog articles, website content, and digital marketing materials
- Assist with maintaining and improving the firm's website from a marketing and user-experience perspective
- Monitor website traffic, campaign performance, search visibility, and social media engagement
- Research keywords, competitors, target audiences, marketing trends, and new growth opportunities
- Support marketing campaigns, business development initiatives, and other projects as required

Qualifications





- Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications, Digital Media, or related programat a recognized Canadian university or college
- Enrolled in or eligible to complete an approved co-op work term through your school
- Strong interest in digital marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO, and online advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Organized, creative, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation
- Experience or knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO, Canva, MailerLite, or similar marketing tools is an asset
