Overview

We are a food manufacturing company looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse Assistant to support our daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role includes receiving materials, preparing customer orders, maintaining inventory records, and working with frozen food products.

Responsibilities

- Receive ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products, checking quantities, condition, lot numbers, and delivery documents
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare frozen food orders accurately and on time
- Organize products in the warehouse and freezer according to FIFO/FEFO and food-safety requirements
- Assist with regular inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Check product and freezer temperatures when required
- Support production and packaging activities during busy periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, freezer, and loading area
- Follow company food-safety, sanitation,



and workplace-safety procedures
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or food-manufacturing experience is preferred
- Able to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments, including temperatures as low as –18°C
- Basic English communication and record-keeping skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
- Good attention to detail when handling inventory, lot codes, labels, and customer orders
- Willingness to assist with different warehouse or production duties when needed

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
