Responsibilities

- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to established standards and customer specifications
- Ensure all meat handling and processing complies with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Package meat products securely for retail display or customer orders, maintaining freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment to uphold health standards
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods,



and provide excellent customer service
- Rotate stock efficiently to minimize waste and ensure product freshness
- Follow all safety procedures during meat processing, including proper use of knives and equipment

Experience

- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat cutting, is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, meat handling, and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with packaging methods for retail or wholesale meat products
- Solid attention to detail with excellent knife skills and precision in cutting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Kitchen experience or background in food handling is a valuable asset
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
