We are currently recruiting Catastrophe Adjusters to join our WorkForce Advantage team across Canada.

Put your claims expertise to work in a role where you can make a meaningful difference for customers. You will manage Property Catastrophe (CAT) claims from investigation through settlement, collaborate with insureds, adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders, and provide responsive, high-quality service. How WorkForce Advantage Works

As a member of the WorkForce Advantage team, you will join our talent roster and may be matched with client contracts based on your availability, experience, and fit. You will remain an employee of Crawford & Company while working remotely in support of another insurance company.

Assignments typically last three to 12 months and may be extended. Depending on business needs and performance, there may also be an opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the client.

The salary range is $65,000 to $80,000 annually

- Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information




- Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
- Examines policies and settles claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations
- Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
- Work with managers to maintain client relations

- 3+ years of technical claims handling experience in a catastrophe environment
- Valid Provincial Adjusters Licence and/or CIP Designation is required
- Ability to work in a fast pace, high pressure environment
- Must be able to travel on short notice and remain on location for indefinite periods.
- In most cases, Catastrophe Adjusters are responsible for their own travel and living expenses while on assignment.
- Ability to climb and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Licenses & Certifications recommended.
- Knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware preferred.
- Knowledge of Mitchell preferred for auto adjusters.
- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 years experience.
- Good communication skills, organizational ability, technical knowledge, and computer skills
