THE ROLE
As a Manager, International Private Client Services (PCS), you will work in a growing and challenging environment alongside professionals experienced in U.S. and Canadian cross-border tax matters. You will develop your cross-border tax knowledge, including advisory services, while taking a holistic approach to client service and helping clients achieve their long-term goals through tax planning at all stages.

- Develop your cross-border tax knowledge, including advisory services, with a holistic approach to client service. You will work with our clients through tax planning at all stages and help them achieve their long-term goals.

Responsibilities:





- Create innovative and tailored tax solutions for clients and recommend actions to achieve future tax results.
- Advise clients on relevant tax and non-tax issues and be responsible for services delivered and engagement profitability.
- Work collaboratively to solve problems and identify opportunities in tax compliance and consulting assignments. Prepare complex tax assignments.
- Coach, mentor, and work with team members to build trusted relationships.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for business development.
- Resolve complex tax issues and demonstrate a desire to further develop skills in this field.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
- Build strong relationships based on a deep understanding of what matters to our clients by listening to their needs.

Requirements:

- Professional credential is required – CPA in Canada, Masters in Tax, or Enrolled Agent.
- Completed undergraduate degree with transferable academic credentials paired with 5–7 years of relevant tax experience in public practice or industry (equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered).
- Broad exposure to U.S. and Canadian income taxation.
- Demonstrated experience organizing complex information to support research and tax preparation requirements.




- Superior analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and initiate their resolution.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software such as CCH’s Axcess and iFirm.
- Travel may be required.
