Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Math/Science Tutor who has an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Korean to inspire and support students in their academic journey. Duties

- Provide personalized advice in math and science subjects
- Use effective teaching strategies to clarify complex concepts, making learning accessible and enjoyable.
- Support students with homework assignments, test preparation, and project work to reinforce understanding.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and areas needing improvement.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging questions, curiosity, and active participation.
- Communicate regularly with coworkers regarding student performance and progress updates.
- After school hours, weekdays

Experience





- Prior experience working with high school students in an educational setting is highly preferred.
- Proven tutoring experience in math, science, or related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields.
- Strong rapport building and emotional intelligence skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of math concepts, scientific principles, and computer skills relevant to tutoring topics.
- Familiarity with educational tools and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Experience working with diverse learners or students requiring additional support is a plus.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically while fostering confidence and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
- The ability to commit to a school-year contract (Sept - June)
