D.B.I. Inc. is a privately owned transportation company based in West Edmonton, Alberta, specializing in heavy haul, over-dimensional, and general freight transportation throughout Canada and the United States. We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team.

Please note: D.B.I. Inc. is not currently sponsoring or hiring drivers residing outside of Canada.

Position Details

As a Class 1 Driver with D.B.I. Inc., you will join our BC division and be responsible for transporting a variety of loads across local, regional, and long-haul routes throughout BC, with the occasional AB and Northwestern USA loads. This role offers challenging and rewarding work with a up-to-date fleet and a supportive team environment.

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles
- Transport heavy haul, over-dimensional, and general freight loads
- Complete local and long-distance assignments
- Follow dispatch instructions and maintain communication with dispatch personnel
- Secure loads safely and in accordance with regulations
- Perform physical duties, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Utilize electronic logbooks, bills of lading, and other mobile technology
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies and transportation regulations

Requirements





- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Relatively clean 5-year Commercial Driver Abstract (CDA)
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for electronic logging and documentation
- Have valid safety certifications: OSSA, CSTS, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid
- Over-dimensional hauling experience (Preferred)
- Off-road driving experience (Preferred)
- Winch truck experience (Preferred but not required)
- Valid passport for cross-border travel ((Preferred but not required)
