Welder / Machinist

Location: Calgary, Alberta
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Negotiable
Schedule: Mon - Friday (40 hours)

About the Position

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Machinist / Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, machining, fabrication, repairs, and general shop duties while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills.
- Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and equipment.
- Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications





- Previous welding and machining experience.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work from measurements.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Welding or machining certification preferred.
- Experience with CNC equipment.
