Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, customer service, and data entry, with a focus on Heavy Duty Mechanical. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to source and procure parts efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Manage daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient workflow and organization.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for parts procurement.
- Oversee inventory management, including sourcing, stocking, and tracking parts for our heavy duty mechanics
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their parts inquiries and orders.
- Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records of inventory levels and sales transactions.
- Operate forklifts as needed for inventory management and product movement within the shop.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and support overall dealership operations.

Experience





- Previous experience in a heavy duty shop setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of heavy duty mechanical systems and related components is a plus.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and vendors.
- Experience in supply chain management, including sourcing and procurement processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification if necessary.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
