Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Licensed 309A Electrician who is motivated and enthusiastic to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the trade. The Licensed Electrician will be in charge of leading jobs involving installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various settings, including residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

- Facilitate the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints and schematics.
- Lead job sites and work with/guide apprentices.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components is mandatory.




- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
- Experience working with generators and/or fire alarms is an asset.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely is essential.
- Robust willingness to continue learning.
- Ability to work in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.
- Great communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting equipment, and working in confined spaces.
- G drivers license is mandatory as there is travel involved.

*Pay to be negotiated based on experience*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
