The intern will progressively take ownership of certain maintenance management activities while working closely with the maintenance team, suppliers, contractors, and various stakeholders across the plant.

On a daily basis you will:

Purchasing and Procurement

- Participate in the purchasing of parts, materials, and services required for maintenance activities.
- Research suppliers and request quotations.
- Compare proposed solutions by considering costs, lead times, and technical requirements.
- Follow up on purchase orders and deliveries.
- Assist in identifying replacement parts or equivalent solutions when needed.

Contractor Planning and Coordination

- Identify work requiring the involvement of specialized suppliers or contractors.
- Communicate with contractors to obtain quotations and schedule work.
- Coordinate work activities in alignment with production requirements and constraints.
- Prepare the technical information needed to support the execution of work.
- Monitor and follow up on work performed by contractors.
- Participate in validating completed work.

Maintenance Management

- Support the team in planning preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist in prioritizing maintenance work based on its impact on production, safety, and equipment reliability.
- Track and follow up on selected maintenance tasks and projects.
- Contribute to improving the organization and work methods within the maintenance department.

- Education in Mechanical Engineering.
