Join the Voyageur Soap & Candle team! For over 30 years, we’ve supplied quality ingredients, packaging, and supplies for soap, candle, bath, aromatherapy, and skincare makers across Canada.

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Transfer Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on position combining regular inventory transfers between our local locations with warehouse and inventory support.

A key part of this position is safely and efficiently transporting inventory and supplies between Voyageur locations using a company transit van. The role involves regularly loading and unloading products, including heavier boxes and inventory, and working alongside our warehouse and fulfillment teams to assist with inventory movement and other physical warehouse tasks.

This is an internal company transfer position rather than a customer delivery or courier role. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys driving, is physically capable, and also enjoys active, hands-on warehouse work.

Responsibilities

- Complete regular inventory and stock transfers between Voyageur locations using a company transit van.
- Load and unload the company vehicle, including boxes, supplies, and heavier inventory.
- Ensure products are loaded securely and transported safely between locations.
- Verify products and quantities being transferred and ensure inventory reaches the correct location.
- Work with our warehouse, fulfillment, and retail teams to keep inventory moving accurately and efficiently.
- Use handheld scanners and our ERP system to accurately record inventory movements and transfers.
- Move, organize, and replenish stock throughout warehouse and fulfillment areas as required.
- Assist with heavier warehouse tasks, including moving bulk products, boxes, and other inventory.




- Assemble and move skids and prepare inventory for transfer or shipping.
- Assist with loading and unloading incoming or outgoing shipments as needed.
- Assist with receiving and putting away inventory when required.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, loading, and storage areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment where trained and qualified to do so.
- Assist with other warehouse and fulfillment duties as needed.

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a strong driving record.
- Comfortable and confident driving a company transit van throughout the local area on a regular basis.
- Previous work-related driving or delivery experience is preferred.
- Physically capable of regularly lifting and moving boxes and inventory weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Comfortable with frequent loading and unloading and performing physically demanding warehouse tasks.
- Comfortable being active and on your feet for much of the workday.
- Ability to work at a steady, efficient pace and manage different responsibilities throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail when checking, scanning, moving, and transferring inventory.
- Comfortable using handheld scanners, computers, and inventory management systems.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset but is not required.

- Willing to jump in and help with physical warehouse tasks wherever needed.
- Able to follow inventory and warehouse procedures accurately.
- Available for full-time work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with some additional flexibility as required.
