Position Summary:
The Dispatcher oversees the daily operations of dispatch, including scheduling personnel, equipment, and resources to support field operations. This leadership role ensures efficiency, accuracy, and safety while managing a high-volume, rapid-paced workflow.
The Dispatcher is responsible for team leadership, operational coordination, and continuous improvement of dispatch processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise dispatch operations and personnel
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate drivers, crews, and equipment
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet operational demands
- Provide guidance and real-time support to dispatchers and field staff
- Communicate work orders and operational updates across departments
- Monitor and improve dispatch processes and workflow efficiency
- Review and approve field tickets for accuracy and proper coding
- Collaborate with administrative staff on documentation and billing issues
- Address performance concerns and support employee development in coordination with HR
- Work with HSE to ensure compliance with safety standards, audits, and inspections
- Coordinate project planning and yard operations
- Oversee creation of purchase orders related to field operations
- Maintain scheduling systems and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Ensure shop and yard organization and cleanliness
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary is an asset)
- 3–5+ years of dispatch or operations experience, preferably in oilfield services
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of combo vac, hot oiling, and fluid hauling operations
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Travel to field sites and branch locations as required
- PPE required in operational environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Combination of desk work and active movement throughout the day
Work Schedule
- Full time position
- Shift-based schedule with on-call responsibilities
- Overtime as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour
