Heartland Health Dental is seeking an experienced, friendly, and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team in Mississauga.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, works well in a team environment, and is confident managing a busy hygiene schedule.

Schedule

- Wednesdays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Every Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Applicants must be available to work both Wednesdays and Saturdays on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Perform periodontal assessments and provide appropriate patient education
- Take digital dental X-rays as required
- Review medical and dental histories
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
- Work collaboratively with dentists, assistants, and front desk staff
- Help create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of dental hygiene experience required
- Experience using Dentrix dental software required




- Registered and in positive standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Professional, dependable, and organized
- Strong clinical and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
