Canadian Executive Search Group is looking to hire an Industrial Janitor for a local manufacturing facility in Cambridge, ON

Location: Cambridge, ON

Role: Industrial Janitor

Role Type: Temporary to Permanent

Schedule: Monday through Thursday - Straight Days or Afternoon Shift

Rate: $21.00/hr + 10% shift premium on Afternoons

Start Date: Immediate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintaining a clean facility
- Operates scrubbers and other tools
- Follows instructions as per the SDS for chemical use
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Manages inventory and restocking janitorial supplies
- Cleaning walls, sinks, tables, commonly used areas, etc.
- Remove garage, recycling, cardboard, etc.
- Seasonally – shovel, snowblow, salt, maintaining sidewalks and patio area
- Completing paperwork
- Maintaining a clean and safe working workplace
- Attends all company-specified training as required
- Other duties as assigned within the general scope of manufacturing

Education and Experience





- Completion of high school diploma, excellent comprehension of English
- Must be mechanically inclined with an excellent work ethic
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a janitorial role in a manufacturing environment
