Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Labourer to join our team in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will support the mechanics with day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment, as well as general shop duties to keep our operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist mechanics with repairs, servicing, and maintenance of vehicles, heavy equipment, and tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including sweeping, waste disposal, tool storage, wash bay cleaning, and unit washing.
- Operate shop equipment and tools safely, following all safety protocols and procedures
- Help with parts inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts
- Assist in loading/unloading parts, tools, and equipment as required
- Complete daily inspections of shop equipment and report any safety hazards or issues
- Support the team with other tasks assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

- Previous experience in a shop, mechanic’s assistant, or labourer role is an asset but not required - training will be provided
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Robust work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team




- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Safety-conscious with a commitment to following company and industry safety standards
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred

Work Environment & Shift

- Indoor shop setting with occasional outdoor work
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided where required
