Landmark East School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school serving students in Grades 3 to 12 with learning differences, including Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Disorder, and more. Position Requirements:

General Responsibilities:

· Assist Head Cook and Assistant Cook to prepare and serve meals and snacks.

· Assist Head Cook and Assistant Cook to prepare salads for salad bar.

· Wash dishes.

· Launder dish clothes and dish towels.

· Wipe tables in dining hall before and after each meal.

· Thorough cleaning of steam table once a week, as well as daily cleaning.

· Empty garbage and compost containers after every meal as needed.





· Remove recyclables and cardboard to designated location.

· Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces (use checklist to perform kitchen cleaning and disinfection protocols).

· Sweep and mop kitchen floor daily.

· Clean and organize shelves in kitchen and larder (see checklist for schedule).

· Clean and organize walk-in refrigerator and freezer, and chest freezers (see checklist for schedule).

· Clean stovetops and ovens.

· Unpack food supplies after deliveries.

· Take food out of freezer for next day’s menu.

· Assist with any other duties as needed.

· Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of School.

· Part-Time
