Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze/Pick-Your-Own Vegetables Sales Staff Position

Must be able to work THURSDAYS/FRIDAYS/SATURDAYS/SUNDAYS AND THANKSGIVING MONDAY

Overview:

Pick-your-own and pre-picked strawberry/vegetable/pumpkin and farm market requiring sales staff help from beginning of September to October 31st to help for our fall season. Working on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays including Thanksgiving Monday.

Main duties:

1. Welcoming customers and directing customers to the fields to pick vegetables, pumpkins and flowers.

2. Directing customer movement and picking activities within and near the fields

3. Assisting with parking lot direction

4. Cashier duties

5. Assisting with vegetables and pumpkin harvesting

7. Arranging and restocking produce displays

8. Other related tasks as required.

Notable requirements:

This role requires the employee to work outdoors for extended periods standing,



walking and fulfilling tasks in uneven physical terrain.

This role requires the employee to be available to work on THURSDAYS/FRIDAYS/SATURDAYS/SUNDAYS AND THANKSGVING MONDAY from September through to the end of October.

Work Experience:

No experience necessary

Previous customer service experience an asset

Previous work with point-of-sale equipment an asset

Skills Development:

This role offers skills development in communications, customer service and hands-on farm market labour, all in a fast-paced, collegial environment. It is an excellent opportunity for senior high school, college and university students who enjoy working outdoors.
