Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Steel Door & Hardware Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial steel doors,frames and related hardware components across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Responsibilities

- Install, adjust, and secure commercial steel doors, frames, and hardware according to project plans and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installations and repairs
- Conduct inspections of installed doors and hardware to verify proper operation and safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation activities
- Perform maintenance, adjustments, and restoration work on existing door systems as needed
- Apply caulking, drywall finishing, or painting around installed doors for a clean finish when required

Qualifications





- Proven experience with construction projects involving steel door installation or related trades
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized hardware installation equipment
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions
- Familiarity with construction materials such as drywall, caulking compounds, flooring, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and painting is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and building codes relevant to commercial door installation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in quick-paced environments
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks efficiently

Pay: $25.00-$37.94 per hour
