We provide individualized services for children, adolescents, and adults across Ontario, with a focus on neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and evidence-informed practice. Our services are designed to meet individuals where they are—whether that means working in the home, school, community, or virtually.

We are looking for a compassionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

The Role

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessment, consultation, and individualized intervention to support individuals with a variety of communication needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, families, educators, and other professionals to develop practical strategies that support functional communication, participation, independence, and quality of life.

We are particularly interested in clinicians who understand and value neurodiversity-affirming approaches, including supporting communication in ways that respect an individual's autonomy, preferences, and communication style.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Assess and support receptive and expressive language, social communication, speech sounds, fluency, voice, and other areas within the SLP's scope of practice.
- Identify individual strengths, communication preferences, and areas where additional support may be beneficial.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals, priorities, and functional needs.
- Provide evidence-informed speech and language intervention in home, school, community, and/or virtual environments.
- Support AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) when appropriate, including communication devices, visual supports, and other communication systems.
- Support functional communication across everyday environments and communication partners.
- Provide caregiver education, coaching,



and practical strategies to support communication outside of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, Behaviour Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to coordinated care plans.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and inform clinical decision-making.
- Prepare clear, thorough, and family-friendly clinical documentation and reports.
- Provide recommendations for accommodations, communication supports, and environmental modifications when appropriate.
- Maintain current knowledge of research and evidence-informed practices in speech-language pathology.
- Support families in navigating available communication resources and services.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), or eligibility for registration.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults.




- Experience working with autism, developmental disabilities, learning differences, and/or other neurodevelopmental profiles is an asset.
- Experience with AAC is an asset.
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Comfortable providing services in a variety of environments, including homes, schools, community settings, and virtually.
- A genuine interest in working collaboratively with families and caregivers.
- Commitment to evidence-informed and neuro-affirming practice.
