Our client, a manufacturing facility located in Stittsville, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. The successful candidate will complete an initial training period of approximately 1 to 2 weeks on the day shift before transitioning to the afternoon shift, working 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on a regular basis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Previous warehouse and material handling experience
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Previous manufacturing, production, or hands-on work experience is an asset
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Capable of following instructions accurately and consistently
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle as public transportation is not available

Duties & Responsibilities

- Supply the correct materials to all machines to ensure uninterrupted production
- Manage and process regrind materials generated from production waste
- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain material handling equipment, including dryers, granulators, blenders, and loaders




- Keep all material handling equipment clean and in good working condition; report maintenance and repair requirements promptly
- Support supervisors in maintaining shop floor organization, housekeeping, and cleanliness standards
- Perform Machine Operator duties as required
- Complete and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary
- Provide break and lunch coverage for production team members as required

Location: Stittsville, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 4:00pm to 12:30am

Wage: $20.00 per hour plus a $0.50 premium for the afternoon shift
