We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our crew planting wire-basket trees on boulevards in Selkirk, Manitoba.

Carpool available from Winnipeg – travel time is paid.

Duties include:

● Planting and positioning wire-basket trees

● Digging and preparing planting sites

● Removing baskets/burlap as required

● Backfilling, mulching, staking and cleanup

● Loading and unloading trees and materials

● Working safely around equipment and traffic

This is a physically demanding outdoor position. Applicants should be comfortable lifting, using hand tools, working around skid steers and other equipment, and working outside in varying weather conditions.

Requirements:

● Valid Class 5 driver’s licence

● Reliable and punctual

● Comfortable with physical outdoor work

● Able to work well as part of a crew

● Landscaping, construction or tree-planting experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right person

Full-time, typically 8–10 hours per day.Paid lunch.Overtime after 8 hours.Paid travel time with carpool available from Winnipeg.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
