Responsibilities

Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling to support chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients and dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Help with food storage by organizing ingredients, labeling items, and ensuring proper refrigeration practices.
Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen areas before and after service shifts.
Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Assist with serving food when needed,



ensuring timely delivery of dishes to guests or dining areas.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are advantageous.
Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is essential.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a quick-paced setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
A genuine interest in the food industry and a desire to learn new culinary skills.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
