We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Disability Claims Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring disability claims that are in permanent or C-Claims status and ensuring ongoing eligibility for benefits. You will regularly request and review medical information and support documentation, conduct telephone interviews with claimants, and communicate with various stakeholders to support effective claims management.
This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. We are looking for an individual who is eager to grow professionally within a collaborative and evolving work workplace while delivering outstanding customer service.
Job Requirements
· Bilingualism - English and French
· Post-secondary education
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role (considered an asset)
· Medical knowledge or experience in a healthcare-related field (considered an asset)
· Working knowledge of disability management processes and contract wording
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Windows and Excel
· Experience using claims management systems, such as Navigator (considered an asset)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong customer service orientation
· Ability to review and interpret contractual provisions and understand their impact on benefits
· make referrals to a case manager or other resource when needed.
· Ability to request, review, and assess medical and other supporting documentation
· Experience handling frequent telephone communication with claimants and stakeholders

· Ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, case managers, physicians, and other involved parties to support ongoing claims management and monitoring.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
