Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Facility Attendant to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facility. In this role, you will be the friendly face that maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create an enjoyable experience for everyone who enters our space. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills while supporting the daily functions of our facility.

Responsibilities

- Maintain curling ice surface by using approved techniques such as scraping, pebbling, nipping, etc.
- Greet visitors and guests warmly, providing excellent customer service and directions as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment room and surrounding areas of ice pad.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring equipment and supplies are properly managed.
- Complete daily refrigeration plant checks and log requirements.




- Conduct routine safety inspections of the facility to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, including answering questions about programs or activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Strong ability to interact with clientele of all demographics.
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with visitors and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Previous experience in a recreational setting is an asset.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to facility maintenance.
- Reliable, energetic, and able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.95-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
