About the Role

AAI Solutions is seeking experienced DA AVOP holders for Security Escort positions at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

In this contractor role, you will provide professional security escort services for contractors and visitors through restricted Airside and Terminal areas while maintaining “Care and Control” and ensuring full compliance with GTAA and Airport Authority security protocols. Work is assigned on an as-needed basis, giving contractors the flexibility to accept shifts according to their availability.

We also offer support and pathways for those looking to advance their qualifications, including progression to D AVOP. This opportunity suits experienced DA AVOP holders who value flexibility and steady, compliance-focused work during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

o Escort contractors and visitors in and out of restricted Airside and Terminal areas while maintaining absolute “Care and Control” and line of sight at all times.

o Ensure full compliance with Airport Authority rules,



regulations, and established escorting ratios.

o Properly issue, validate, and manage Visitor Pass Certificates, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.

o Verify government-issued identification and confirm understanding of Visitor pass terms and conditions.

o Establish and monitor secure work areas while maintaining required standards of security and situational awareness.

o Support site sweeps under appropriate supervision when required.

o Demonstrate integrity, dependability, and a consistently qualified and courteous manner.

Requirements

o Valid Purple Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) – current and valid

o Valid DA AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator Permit) – current and valid

o Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a minimum of 3 years driving experience

o Valid Ontario Security Guard License

o Strong command of English with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and professionally

o Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods while maintaining a high degree of alertness

o Proven integrity, reliability, and professional conduct

o Availability to accept ad-hoc shifts on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis as work becomes available

This role offers experienced DA AVOP holders the chance to work flexibly while performing important, steady escort duties in one of Canada’s busiest airport environments.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
