About the Role

Oomomo Café is looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused team members to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service while taking customer orders, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring orders are accurately and efficiently provided to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to all customers.
- Greet customers, take orders accurately, process payments, and operate the POS/cash register.
- Prepare beverages according to Oomomo Café recipes, quality standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and assemble food and dessert items such as crepes, parfaits, and other menu items.
- Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, and other food preparation required for daily service.
- Organize completed orders and ensure food and beverages are distributed to the correct customers.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and maintain efficient service.
- Ensure customer orders are accurate and complete before they are served.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary front-of-house and food preparation environment.
- Restock and organize ingredients, beverages, supplies, and packaging as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and the organization of food, supplies, and equipment.




- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer experience.
- Support daily café operations and perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Store Manager.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service, food service, café, cashier, or food preparation roles is an asset but not required.
- A valid Food Handler Certificate or previous food handling experience is an asset but not required.
- Friendly, outgoing, and energetic with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable preparing food and beverages while interacting with customers.
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
