About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, reliable Stairlift Installation Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, service, and repair stairlifts in customers' homes, ensuring every job is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standard. When not on installs, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing inventory, and preparing equipment for upcoming jobs.

Responsibilities
Installation & Service
- Install straight and curved stairlifts in residential homes according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing units
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct site assessments and measurements to confirm installation requirements
- Test completed installations and walk customers through safe operation of their new equipment
- Complete installation reports, service records, and job documentation accurately
- Maintain tools, and equipment in clean, safe working condition
Warehouse Duties
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock and parts
- Pick, stage, and load equipment for scheduled installs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems
- Professional, friendly demeanor and the ability to make a great impression with customers, many of whom are seniors or people with mobility challenges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, work on stairs, and kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check
Nice to Have
- Previous experience installing stairlifts, elevators, mobility equipment, or similar products
- Experience in construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or appliance repair
- Forklift certification
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
