Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the serving staff, ensuring effective and friendly service at all times
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to support kitchen operations when needed
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, including interviewing potential new hires and conducting performance reviews
- Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile daily sales reports
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar, and service stations




- Support restaurant management in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining health standards
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that encourage repeat business

Experience

- Proven experience in food service roles, including serving, bartending, or barista work within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or similar environment
- Strong background in restaurant management practices, including food safety protocols and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Experience in interviewing and onboarding new team members is highly desirable
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and overall restaurant flow is a plus
- Previous hotel or bar experience can be advantageous but is not required
