Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated & experienced Long Haul Truck Drivers to Join Our Team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances within Canada and US, while ensuring the safety and timely delivery of goods.

The ideal candidate must possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various types of equipment and cargo in 53' Vans and Reefers.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo details in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure that all freight is secured properly to prevent damage during transport.

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)



with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in long haul driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while on the road.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
