Position Information:

Certificate of Competence – College of Nurses of Ontario

Bachelor of Nursing university degree, Master’s degree preferred

Evidence of continuous learning

Evidence of Strong clinical experience with a focus on medicine

Minimum 5 to 7 years progressive healthcare leadership experience

Leadership experience within acute care hospital settings required.

Experience leading patient care units, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated success managing budgets, human resources, and operational performance

Solid knowledge of Unions including ONA and Unifor

Strong understanding of acute medicine, patient flow, and hospital operations.

Knowledge of healthcare quality, patient safety, accreditation, and risk management principles.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and quality improvement initiatives.

Proficiency with healthcare information systems and performance metrics

Experience related to project planning, strategic planning and policy development

Proven knowledge of teaching and mentoring techniques

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize





Excellent Conflict resolution skills

Commitment to Service Excellence

Salary Range: $78.59/hr-$88.46/hr
