We are seeking an experienced and fully licensed 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have approximately 4+ years of experience after obtaining their 313A licence and be capable of working independently on complex HVAC/R equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment, controls, electrical components, and mechanical systems.

- Service and maintain commercial and industrial air-conditioning equipment.

- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance.

- Identify equipment failures and complete necessary repairs or component replacements.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.

- Test refrigeration and air-conditioning systems to ensure proper operation.

- Work with compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, controls, piping, and related components.

- Complete service reports and accurately document work performed.





- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other technicians.

- Follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence – mandatory.

- Ideally 4+ years of experience as a licensed 313A Technician.

- Strong experience with commercial and/or industrial HVAC/R systems.

- Proven ability to install, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.

- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to diagnose problems independently and recommend appropriate repairs.

- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.

- Robust knowledge of refrigeration cycles, controls, and HVAC/R components.

- Valid Ontario driver's licence with a satisfactory driving record.

- Strong communication and customer-service skills.

- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
