What we are looking for -
Antler Hill Welding Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Year or Journeyman Welder to join our fabrication and manufacturing team in Innisfail, Alberta. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high‑quality work, understands the importance of safety, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with diverse projects. You will work from detailed blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components with precision, perform MCAW, FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding, and support assembly tasks across custom and structural builds.

Responsibilities
- Perform MCAW, FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings for accurate fabrication.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding machines, and shop equipment including cranes, forklifts, stud welders, air‑arc gougers, oxygen lance, hydraulic press, mag‑base drills, and drill press.
- Safely rig and position heavy materials using cranes or forklifts for welding and assembly.
- Assist with assembly of structural components and custom fabrications as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with AHWS COR safety protocols.
- Follow fabrication specifications, quality standards, and project timelines to support productive shop workflow.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum three years of hands‑on welding experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environments.
- Strong proficiency in MCAW, FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW processes with consistent, high‑quality weld output.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details.
- Experience rigging and moving heavy materials using cranes or forklifts.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using fabrication tools and equipment (stud welder, air‑arc gouger, oxygen lance, hydraulic press, mag‑base drills, drill press, etc.).
- Solid math skills for measurements, layout, and fabrication accuracy.
- Experience working on construction or manufacturing projects involving assembly of metal structures or components.
- Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
