Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, facilitate smooth payroll processing, and support budgeting and account analysis efforts.

Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, or UltiPro to record and maintain financial transactions
- Perform data entry with precision to ensure accurate financial records and account reconciliation
- Process payroll using systems like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, or UltiPro, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with budgeting activities by preparing financial reports and supporting documentation




- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with familiarity in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, or PeopleSoft
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation procedures
- Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail for maintaining precise financial records
- Excellent math skills coupled with analytical thinking for account analysis and budgeting tasks
- Ability to adapt quickly to various accounting systems including ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, and Workday
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external partners
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred but not mandatory depending on experience
