KLS Earthworks Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to help strengthen our finance function and support the business through its next stage of growth. The Controller will own day-to-day accounting operations and deliver the financial insight that supports business decisions across the company. Accounting Operations

Lead, mentor and grow the finance team Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end closing Oversee project revenue and cost accounting, including accruals and analysis Review, approval, and posting accounts payable batches Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations Manage inventory and capital asset accounting Provide payroll back-up support,



including daily timesheet posting and bi-weekly payroll processing. Reporting & Analysis Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis Support budgeting and forecasting processes Provide financial analysis to support operations Prepare audit working papers. Support customer collections and payment follow-up Lead or contribute to special projects as required. 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role ~ Experience with job costing, manufacturing or construction accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting ~ Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems ~ Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, inspire, and manage a team ~ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities ~ Competitive compensation package including salary, benefits and group savings with company matching Stable, full-time office position Be part of a growing, industry-leading company in construction and aggregates
