Agentic AI Engineer – Contract

Location: Remote – Canada

Experience: 8+ years

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Canada

Key Responsibilities

- Build and deploy Agentic AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, memory, reasoning, prompt engineering, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python, Node.js, and JVM technologies.
- Implement Knowledge Graphs, GraphRAG, and graph-based retrieval.
- Build document-generation pipelines, including HTML-to-PDF.
- Deploy solutions on Azure using App Service, Blob Storage, Key Vault, API Management, Entra ID, and Azure OpenAI.
- Integrate enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Microsoft Graph.
- Implement AI evaluation, hallucination detection, monitoring, security, CI/CD, and MLOps/LLMOps.

Required Skills

- 8+ years in AI/ML, Data Science,



Software Engineering, or IT.
- 8+ years of Python experience.
- Solid hands-on experience with Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex.
- Strong Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, and JVM integration experience.
- Hands-on Azure experience.
- Experience with Knowledge Graphs/GraphRAG and AI evaluation.
- Production experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and MLOps/LLMOps.

Nice to Have: Multi-agent systems, IaC, AI security/governance, regulated-industry experience, and relevant AI/cloud certifications.
