About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Android Engineer to join our dynamic mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, architecture, and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver creative mobile solutions that enhance the customer experience. This position requires advanced hands-on development expertise, a deep understanding of Android application architecture, and the ability to mentor junior team members. As part of our agile team, you will contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement of our engineering practices.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in native Android application development using Java and Kotlin, along with extensive experience in application and data architecture. A strong background in designing, developing, and deploying Android applications is essential.

Familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks such as RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, Junit, Jenkins, and Jetpack Compose is required. Additionally, candidates should have experience mentoring junior and intermediate developers and guiding technical and business stakeholders. A bachelor's, master's, or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and experience working within agile environments will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Own the technical design, architecture, and development of cross-platform application systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with the mobile team throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
- Improve software engineering practices by working within agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies.




- Provide technical expertise on how evolving technologies impact our domain and contribute to strategic planning and innovation.
- Mentor and guide Junior, Intermediate, and Senior mobile developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
