Our Client Our client is a sophisticated strategic and legal advisory firm engaged on complex, high-stakes matters where strategy, governance, capital, value and control are at issue. Its practice sits uniquely at the intersection of law, business and finance, offering associates exposure that extends well beyond a traditional corporate or securities practice. A background in corporate and securities law; ~ Working familiarity with Canadian corporate and securities law, including take-over bid and early warning rules, continuous disclosure, MI 61-101, proxy solicitation, and the CBCA and OBCA; ~ Excellent drafting skills and strong analytical capabilities; ~ Solid commercial instincts and an interest in the intersection of law, strategy, governance and finance; A background in finance or accounting, or a CFA designation, would be considered an asset but is not required.
