Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the desired color and finish, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paints using spray guns or other approved methods with precision.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections such as runs, drips, or overspray; perform necessary corrections to ensure a smooth finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols related to paint application,



ventilation systems, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with technicians and estimators to ensure timely completion of painting tasks within project timelines.

Experience

- Proven experience as an auto body painter or similar role within automotive repair shops or collision centers.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paints, primers, explicit coats, masking techniques, and spray equipment operation.
- Ability to identify color matches accurately and work with various paint formulations.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling and spray booth operations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes that meet industry standards.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced workplace with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
