Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Automotive Assistant Manager to join our dealership team. This role offers an exciting prospect to lead daily operations, support sales and service teams, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, dealership experience, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily dealership operations, including service appointments, repairs, and customer interactions
- Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth communication between departments
- Supervise and coordinate automotive repair activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high standards
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, explain repair options, and promote additional services through upselling techniques
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of sales and services




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Train and mentor staff members to enhance their technical skills and customer service capabilities
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed

Requirements

- Proven dealership experience or automotive management background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and address client concerns effectively
- Sales experience, including upselling additional services or products to customers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate team members and ensure smooth operations
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and industry best practices is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
