Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all repairs meet our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignment adjustments.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repair services and communicate findings clearly to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.




- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required; dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus; experience with diesel engine repair is also advantageous.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Understanding of automotive electrical systems and their components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
