Duties

- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues accurately using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs efficiently and safely
- Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise repairs and installations
- Assist with vehicle inspections, heavy lifting tasks, and routine maintenance to uphold safety standards




- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair progress clearly to team members and customers
- Support shop operations by organizing tools, managing parts inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace

Skills

- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for complex repairs
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physical tasks required in automotive maintenance
- Experience with vehicle assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems
- Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust with clients
- Knowledge of automotive schematics for diagnosing electrical or mechanical issues accurately
- Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
