Highway: Night Regional Company Driver – Laidlaw Carriers Van

Job Type: Full time • AZ Driver • Night run • 5-6 days out

About the Role

Laidlaw Carriers Van is seeking experienced AZ Highway Company Drivers for a dedicated overnight run between Eotbicoke and North Bay.

Route & Schedule

- Depart Etobicoke at 12:00 AM (arrive at terminal by 11:30 PM).
- Deliver to North Bay by 4:00 AM.
- Off-duty/rest period during the day.
- Pick up from North Bay at 4:30 PM.
- Deliver to Etobicoke by 8:30 PM.
- Return to Etobicoke at 11:30 PM to begin the next trip.
- Schedule runs Sunday night through Friday, with the driver finishing the week and returning home Friday at approximately 8:30 PM.

Compensation

- Consistent weekly mileage: 2,100 to 2,500 miles.

Responsibilities

- Haul freight between Canada and the U.S.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and cross-border regulations
- Complete dispatch-assigned work efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation

Requirements

- Valid AZ licence or Class 1
- 2 years of verified Canada/USA driving experience
- Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
- Clean criminal record check (required for cross-border travel)
- Must be willing and able to travel into the United States regularly
- Comfortable being out in the truck 5–6 consecutive days per week
