Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklift and heavy equipment as needed, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and trailers, performing basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting issues to prevent delays
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to verify shipment details, process freight documentation, and ensure proper handling of goods




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely within warehouse or yard environments when required

Qualifications

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and shipping documentation standards
- Basic automotive repair skills to identify minor vehicle issues and perform simple repairs or maintenance tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Physical stamina to load/unload freight, operate heavy equipment, and perform routine vehicle inspections
