Harrison Pensa is actively recruiting a permanent, full-time Bank Runner in our Accounting Department. This role supports our accounting team and the Firm’s banking needs to various financial institutions within the downtown core. We are looking for a self-driven and organized individual that will be successful in a fast-paced workplace.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist with bank runs and attend various financial institutions to process required transactions;
- Prepare general deposits;
- Support the accounting group in posting and reconciling disbursement charges, or reconciling visa charges as required;
- Scanning and maintaining documentation in the accounting system;
- Preparing records and documents for filing and archiving;
- Posting of general and trust receipts;
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate ideally has the following qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma, Business Administration, Office Administration or Executive Assistant diploma or related discipline;
- Ability to walk to financial institutions within the downtown core;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to provide customer service to our internal practice groups;
- Ability to maintain and comply with confidentiality requirements;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and written;
- Organization, time management, and multitasking skills;
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently.
We offer a salary commensurate with experience and a collegial setting. The expected compensation range for this role is between $42,000 and $46,000
