Four Points by Sheraton Calgary West is a full-service hotel offering exceptional guest experiences for meetings, weddings, conferences, and special events. We are looking for energetic, service-focused Banquet Staff to join our Food & Beverage team and help deliver memorable events.
Position Summary
As a Part Time Banquet Server, you will play a key role in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace and take pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and tear down banquet rooms according to event orders
- Serve food and beverages professionally during events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously
- Follow all food safety, liquor service, and hotel standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and banquet team members
Qualifications
- Previous banquet or food & beverage experience is an asset (training provided)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
