Responsibilities

- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- POS & Transactions: Operate POS systems to process orders quickly and accurately.
- Cash Management: Handle cash responsibilities, including opening, operating, and balancing the cash register.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Workplace Professionalism: Maintain a mature, respectful demeanor, foster a positive, drama-free work environment, and work collaboratively with team members.
- Inventory & Restocking: Restock bar inventory (milks, syrups, beans) and front-of-house service stations (cups, lids, sleeves, napkins, utensils).
- Facility Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine lobby, patio, and bathroom checks, clear tables, sanitize surfaces, empty trash receptacles,



and maintain overall dining space cleanliness.
- Equipment Care: Wash, rinse, and sanitize coffee grinders, espresso machine parts, blenders, dishware, and smallwares.
- Food Safety & Sanitation: Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, storage, waste disposal, and sanitation standards are upheld.
- Time Management: Manage time effectively during peak rush hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and food preparation is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Clover for smooth transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Experience in the food industry or related roles demonstrates reliability and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
