Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with skill and consistency
- Create fresh flower and rose bouquets and arrangements.
- Prepare roses and flowers for display and sale.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, bouquets, and gifts.
- Create custom arrangements based on customer requests.
- Maintain fresh flowers by trimming, watering, conditioning, and properly storing them.
- Keep the floral display clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with special orders, celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area,



counters, and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed
- Follow food safety protocols related to food handling and hygiene to ensure a safe environment for all

Experience

- Previous experience working as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and managing register transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to food handling and preparation is a plus
- Experience in serving or food service roles that require multitasking and quick thinking will help you succeed in this energetic environment
