Responsibilities

- Open or close the café: set up your workstation, dial in espresso grind, and ensure the space is clean and ready for service
- Monitor stock levels of cups, lids, bags, napkins, tea, coffee, syrups and etc
- Prepare espresso drinks, matcha beverages, and other specialty drinks consistently and efficiently
- Take customer orders, process transactions through the POS system, and handle payments accurately
- Serve baked goods while maintaining a welcoming and skilled atmosphere
- Learn product details and ingredients to confidently assist customers with questions
- Assist with small operational tasks (e.g., stamping bags and cups, refilling display case)
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including counters, floors and service stations
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders if neccessary
- Address customer questions and resolve issues promptly to support a positive guest experience
- Use downtime productively by restocking, organizing, and supporting the team as needed





Qualifications
- Previous barista experience required; latte art skills preferred
- Food Handler certificate required
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Solid understanding of coffee preparation and espresso workflow
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and friendly, professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team setting
- Ability to manage time independently and stay proactive during slower periods
- Advanced English language skills required

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
