Position

- We currently have positions open for a part-time Barista at Good Earth Coffeehouse Centennial Place located downtown @ 530 - 3 Ave SW.
- Expected Wage: 15.00 plus tips
- Shifts : Morning on weekdays - 30 hours per week.
- This job contributes to the success of Good Earth Coffeehouse by delivering exceptional customer service, creating a friendly and clean atmosphere and delivering high quality products to customers. Baristas must be able to work as part of a team and able to follow direction.

Responsibilities

- Cafe Operations Activities - Delivering exceptional customer service to all Good Earth Coffeehouse customers. Contributes to a positive team environment, high staff morale and communicates problem areas to the Cafe Manager or Supervisor. Develops positive and skilled relationships with the Good Earth team by recognizing and understanding the needs and concerns of his/her teammates. Follows company policies and procedures and is in compliance of these guidelines at all times. Completes daily tasks to in order to keep the cafe at high standards of cleanliness and working order using the check sheets and maintenance lists.



Ensures that standards of execution are excellent at all times. Ensures that his/her cafe is properly merchandised and that all retail, food displays and signage reflect the current marketing initiative.
- Customer Service - Dedicated to guest satisfaction at all times. Ensures timely delivery of high quality food and beverage items at all times. Ensures that customer service speed/service times are being delivered. Handles any issues as they arise to ensure that the customer is satisfied. Recommends to the Cafe Manager corrective action for the company’s operating systems in order to ensure that problems will not be encountered repeatedly.

Qualifications

- Experience as a barista would be considered a significant asset.
